You can telephone or come to the surgery after 11:00 to book a pre bookable appointment, for emergencies please telephone or come to the surgery at 08:00 on the day. The receptionist will ask you the reason for your appointment this is to ascertain the urgency of the appointment and will sign post you to the relevant health care professional.

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
If you feel that your problem can be dealt with over the telephone rather than by visiting the surgery please speak to a receptionist about booking a telephone consultation.
We are a Teaching practice affiliated to the Keele University Medical School and from time to time we have medical students attached to the practice. We have also been awarded ‘Training Practice Status’.
Please note that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late for an appointment with a GP or nurse you will lose your slot. If you are genuinely running late please phone and ask the receptionist if you will be seen, she will then advise you.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
